Fundamentals of Expatriate/Mobility Management

This two-day session aims to equip attendees to fulfill their mobility roles or interests through building an understanding of the key concepts, issues, and challenges associated with this exciting aspect of people and reward management.

Learning Objectives

The training session will provide attendees with a robust platform for mobility management spanning the likely cycle of an assignment:

  • Assignment employment relationship structuring
  • Pre-departure preparation
  • Assignment remuneration
  • Cost and quality of living differentials
  • Taxation principles
  • Assignment related benefits (home and host companies)
  • Repatriation - post assignment
  • Localisation
  • Overview of global trends

The number of attendees has been limited to maximum 15. A delegate’s seats will only be guaranteed upon receipt of proof of payment by Mercer.

Please note that the course is accredited by the South Africa Reward Association (SARA) and those attendees with an accredited SARA professional designation will qualify for 12 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points.
