Mercer are delighted to announce that the firm, in collaboration with our longstanding client Diageo, have been awarded the Best Vendor Partnership prize at the 2019 Forum for Expatriate Management’s EMEA Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards, or ‘EMMA’s.
Mercer and Diageo were selected as the winning partnership by a judging panel of industry leaders, in a highly competitive category made up of relocation companies, legal practices, specialist support providers, and other professional services firms. The judges commented on Mercer and Diageo’s entry:
“Mercer and Diageo have together made the journey from data to technology and are ahead of many other companies. A great partnership looking to challenge the status quo.”
The award recognizes the how the partnership between Diageo and Mercerhas evolved over the last 10 years from being focused purely on the provision of mobility data services (i.e. cost of living, housing allowance and hardship allowance data), to including the implementation and ongoing support of mobility technology (AssignmentPro) and policy consultancy (e.g. policy benchmarking, employee and business surveys, exception and Diversity and Inclusion audits, policy development and revisions, and change communications).
Mercer’s broader HR, reward and benefits relationship with Diageo has also grown outside the mobility arena over the last decade, with data and consultancy services continuing to be provided throughout the HR, Benefits and Reward functions.
Congratulations to all of the members of the Mercer and Diageo teams who have worked so diligently and collaboratively together over the years, and may there be many more to come!
